I'll be barracking for them tomorrow night.
Feel there is a bit of collingwood about them.
I like their logo a picture of a rabbit in full flight.
It looks so stupid that it is strangely appealing
Some in the media are saying that they are now
the biggest sporting club in the land?
Any comments about that?
Interesting that some media reps say that the
brand is worth over 20 million dollars now.
Crowe and court paid 3 million for the bunnies a decade ago.
What would we be worth on the open market? _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

Right behind the bunnies too. They've been smart about turning thier brand around and they're a big club. Whether they're the biggest I'm not sure. _________________ No Pressure, No Diamonds
They used to be a happy team at hawthorn.

Should make a sister sporting club relationship with them.
Give them some special deals.

They're an NRL club? Then not even close to biggest in the land. _________________ Well done boys! |

30,000 members this year, aiming for 34k in 2015.
Far from the biggest sporting club in the land.
Don't really like either team but if I have to pick one, I will with the Dogs. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

What, are all their players quitting at the end of the season too?
Do all these players hate their coach?
Can these players miss all their targets time after time?
Or if they want a player who can only tackle and not get a kick, we can give them Blair if it helps?

Souths still have the most flags in the NRL even though they havent won one since 1971.
Got thrown out of the league at the end of 1999, only to doggedly persist and through their hero George Piggins won in the courts and got their spot back. They have shown great resilience as a club and have a great traditional following.
I went up to the 2012 Grand Final; Melb v Canterbury. The Bulldog fans filled Homebush, so with Souths in the final the atmosphere will be massive.
Go Rabbitohs! |

Storm fan since they started but will be hoping for a big Rabbitohs win today. Strong Storm connection with coach Madge Maguire, full back Greg Inglis and former stars Matt King and Michael Crocker all former Storm premiership stars. And the Dogs are aptly named. Still allow that y-front shitstain Graham (dipshit who took a bite out of Billy's ear in 2012 granny) to play with them. And can't wait to see the celebrations if they do. Might come close to how we parties back in 1990. Go the pride. _________________ Explain it to me like I'm a four year old. Ted Whitten is an AFL legend, and Bob Rose isn't? |

because this is the year of Merde the following has taken place:
"professionals" Kerry have won the All Ireland
"professionals" Hawthorn won the AFL flag easily
our beloved Magpies have had a cow of a season, missing the finals, losing half the team to injuries retirements or transfers.
Newcastle United is still stuck on the bottom of the ladder. You think We've got problems.
therefore the "professionals" Canterbury will squash the romantics, South Sydney |

Souths are very much like Collingwood, with its working class origins.
Just as we were born out of the slums of Collingwood, with Vic Park surrounded by boot factories, textile plants and the brewery, Souths home was working class Redfern, which became the home for Sydney's Aboriginal community. It would be fantastic for their long suffering army of supporters if they were to win the grand final today. Go Souths!
PS. Anyone who thinks they are the biggest sporting club in Australia are kidding themselves. Collingwood would have 3 times as many supporters. |

I'll be watching it tonight. Partly because I enjoy ritualised violence and mostly because Slash is playing in the pre-match entertainment. |
