5775 is not a membership number.
It was Jewish New Year, the last two days that is otherwise known as Rosh Hoshana.
Lots to eat.
At Mum's place:
Entree: Blessings over the wine, bread & apple dipped in honey.
Salads, fish (horseradish that makes wasabe seem neutral), like a pate type spready thing (chopped liver, onion, egg - etc tastes yum)
Chicken soup (My mum makes the best) with Creplach - meat filled dumplings
Main course: baked veg, baked beef brisket & ribs that had been marinated with salads
Dessert was various stewed fruits
Honey cake: both home made & shop bought
Cuppa tea to finish.
All for the New year of 5775!
Happy New Year. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Happy Rosh Hashana to you, WPT.
Fond memories of lunch out on the gazebo, smoked salmon, turkey, corn chips, salsa and cheeses. Slightly less fond memories of pavlova for dessert.
I prefer gefilte fish these days. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Thank ewes. I'm not religious whatsoever but go to my Mums with family to celebrate, identify, socialize & mostly eat
We then try to find a christian virgin to sacrifice to please the gods - _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |
