Well I was stupid enough to google it, and sure enough, it is there.
I now have the extension to bypass the pay wall. Yay, and thanks for the tip. |

Anyway, this has all become rather pointless. We will be getting a kid who could easily have been taken at pick one (if everyone wasn't after Mids, mids, & more mids) for our pick 8 which we earned by a magnificent year of playing like shite. Old, white, brittle shite at that. Who would have thought just four years ago we'd be talking about major rebuild and looking forward to being competitive maybe, in a couple of years.
Anyway, it seems like it's all a fait d'accompli (much like a miserable 2015 for Pies fans) and pick 8 is it. I would have thought that given our link with the kid the 7 clubs ahead of us could be talked to, and an understanding struck, then again that woulda been easier when we were a powerhouse rather than a laughingstock. Still, there seems to be a reason why that can't be done. Another thought I had, which was also wrong apparently, was that we could trade our pick 8 for a gun player. Our first round might then be 20 or so, could we not get Moore with said pick 20, being our first pick? I imagine the AFL have a way to circumvent that, we're not Sydney after all, so we can't make up our own rules!
As someone said we'll take him at 8 and leave it to Hiney to pull out another miracle 2nd round, (and 3rd round) pick.
How advanced is cryogenics these days?? Jiust for 3 or 4 years?
Nah, it'd make too many of you happy! :p _________________ "If at first you dont succeed...

Playing a good game in the GF.
Plough on TAC future stars says definitely a first round pick.
Lock him in at 8 for the Pies. |

As we'd expect Terry Wallace said it's 100% certain that a club will bid on Moore before our pick.
Definitely seems to be worth pick 8 so nothing to be concerned about, just a shame that it looks as if the dream scenario of taking two top 10 players will stay as a dream. _________________ Well done boys! |

I'm tipping in 2 to 3 years time we wont be concerned in the slightest we had to use pick 8 on him. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

There's still a good chance we'll get him with our 2nd round pick. They mentioned another 4 players as definitely the top 4 in the draft, so we could get him with our 2nd pick unless someone at pick 5-7 selects him. So even if he's rated the 9th or 10 best player, we could get him with our 2nd round pick. We'll know soon enough. |

I heard he was rated higher then 9th or 10th, hopefully you're right but I'm suspecting we'll have to pay the full price for him. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

Both Carlton and the Bulldogs are going to put their Picks 5 and 7 into the mix.
That means we have to use our Pick8 (1st Rd) to get Moore. |
