| I don't know which was funniest - them coughing up a 5 goal lead, them letting the bombers kick about 10 in a row to get 5 in front or them coming back and getting level - and then failing to get the winning point over the line from about 6 cm out. They're the gift that just keeps on giving. |

LOL I didn't know what to do in an event of a draw! We've never encountered that result since the thread started in early 2012
Plus Essendon fans seemed more pissed off about the draw than Carlton fans did.

Good for Mitchell.
Bad for us, because it decreases the (albeit already unlikely) chance of snaring Moore with our second round pick. The Scum would have needed to keep pick 6/7 free to parlay a trade for him.
On the other hand, it keeps them weak and with no obvious successor to Judd. Mitchell is a gun and would have been the perfect addition.
