No way. Can't kick goals in the VFL. Might as well recruit Aker. |

After this whole fiasco involving Garlett in the past week I think it's fair to say I'm keen to not have him at the club. What's next, our fans reckon we should get Mitch Robinson? _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

I'm warming to it, Dyso. Gotta have at least one will-o'-the-wisp, front running, goal kicking softcock in your team and he's certainly one of them. Forget what's happened to him in recent weeks, he's obviously fallen out of favour with Mick and in a bit of a rut. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

And Frankie, the thing is with Jeff, i couldn't give a rats fat arse if in 2015 he ran around without laying a tackle. As long as he is getting the pill and breaking the lines. And we do not have one player right now capable of doing that. Seedsman has shown some run in patches, and the weight of expectation on Freeman on this forum alone for 2015, is enormous to the point of unrealistic.

Okay, you blokes "Passing", any clues on who else might be available that can break the lines, or where Hine might unearth a line breaker to draft?
They seem to be rare, so i'm just saying grab the first one that comes along and roll the dice, because after tonight, things can't get much worse.... |

And after last friday night's disaster epic, still no change of mind if he is up for grabs?

There's a bloke running around for our reserves who ticks all the boxes you want - crumbs, breaks lines, kicks goals and finds the pill. Answers to the name of Lachlan Ferguson. He's a little on the small side for a small forward (170cm) but we love our small blokes, so he'll fit right in.
Failing that, there's another bloke who plays reserves with Ferguson every 2nd week who does everything that Ferguson does and who is already on our list. Answers to the name of Ben Kennedy.
So, there are a couple of those speedy small forwards right under our noses who we don't have to go looking for... |

I've very surprised that piedys of all people is petitioning so hard for a known soft cock.
A Carlton soft cock at that.

Nup!
Prefer to invest game time in Kennedy, Broomhead, Williams, Sinclair, Freeman, Seedsman, and Ramsay.
In fact I'd prefer Yagmoor gets another year or we add Jake Williams or another VFL prospect to the list.
Adding a hack from another club does nothing to develop the team longer term. |

Righto, righto... no need for hysteria, Geez! Can we just acknowledge the faults in him game; sure he dodges the collisions, and yes, we'd need to give him an industrial disinfecting to get that Blue shit stench off of him.
Already plenty of collision-avoidance types on our list already, that can't break the lines. So by my warped logic, securing a collision-avoidance player who CAN break the lines isn't therefore a bad idea.
As i've mentioned earlier in thread, strict one-year contract loaded with behavioural termination clauses to favour the club, which he and his manager can either take or leave.

Why can't Broomhead fulfil the role Dyso?
