I just thought it'd be a nice touch to do something for the fans without sales pitches, the club IMO is losing it's soul, mass spillage at board level is required. |
Losing its soul - based on what?
declining membership?
How do you substantiate this claim? |

Here the Club has got it right.
If you don't want to buy Club merch then don't, but ffs let the Club try any and every way it can to make money and secure our Clubs future, there are thousands of defunct Clubs that had great "souls" that have gone broke and perished. _________________ Pain heals, Chicks dig scars, Glory..... lasts forever! |

Good stuff guys. A few suggestions, just in case there's further development planned:
Would be great to get yearly playing list tables (perhaps sorted by guernsey numbers and including players who never managed a senior game) under each year's season summary. The information's around, but it can be hard to find on the internet.
Hope that the season summaries will be expanded to include results from 1892-1896. I note you've included players from that era, which is brilliant.
I'm really happy with the inclusion of contemporary newspaper clippings for grand finals. Would be great to get more of this stuff for the "club stories" section. It's a massive job, but Blueseum (the Carlton equivalent of this site) have set a great benchmark.
Anyhow, this is a great initiative and I think it already looks fantastic. Looking forward to seeing how it develops over the coming years. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |
