Dyso - no argy bargy towards or from Shaw.
They do have a couple o cocky looking little pr!cks though that had a bit to say. |
Well that was a good tactic from Buckley for a change.
At least he can see the benefit of dragging Shaw back to the goal line to stop him breaking the lines from around half back.
The same way other teams employ the same tactic against us with Lamumba.
Lol, i'm sure those same cocky looking little pr!cks were somewhat more subdued come the final siren yesterday, when the true flavour of shit pie enveloped their taste buds.

Other Teams did that last year with Heater and it worked very well.
Remember EF vs Port when Monfries took him Deep |
Absolutely Dave. Just saying, that with all of Buckley's strategic fails this year, glad that he took note of something from 2013 to use to our advantage for a change... |

Heater was well let down by this club.
There was the Did's drink driving crap (when we lost Rhyce) and then the betting fiasco.
We shouldn't have challenged the length and severity of his suspension
...but we didn't.
Then when we lost to Port in last years finals he was the scape-goat yet again...
We done the boy wrong! |

Did you actually watch the match against Port? Any player from any club that did what he did would get the sack. _________________ Carlscum 120 years being cheating scum |

Thomas and Nick Davis on the other hand deserve every boo they get. |
Interesting perspective. I don't feel that either Shaw or Thomas left entirely of their own volition.
One thing I'm almost certain of: Shaw and Thomas would still be at Collingwood if Malthouse were coach, and Leon would have been given the extra year he wanted. One thing about Mick is that he was loyal to his players (yeah, yeah, I know) and we lost very few during his time.
Moves like these tear at the fabric of the team. What we're waiting for now is for Bucks to weave us a new one. _________________ Well done boys! |

What was wrong on Trading Him.
He was a Loose Cannon last year on Field.
We got a Very Good Young Inside Mid in Adams in Return.
Also Shaw would not be in our Next Premiership but Adams will could be _________________ I am Da Man |

He was MY favourite player that's what was wrong with trading him! ^^^
and yes I watched the Port game!
We lost, Port played better on the day and ran all over us in the second 1/2!
The result wasn't entirely his fault!
He plays with game passion and frenzy, too commodities this current team is short on! |

Did YOU actually watch the Port match??
If you have access to it, watch the minute or 2 you're referring to very closely, rewind, watch closely again. (Hint: watch who's got hold of who as Shaw falls on top of Monfries.) _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

We weren't any kind of chance to play for the flag last year but you want to crucify a man (wimo won the 2010 flag with his inspirational smother)
for an on-field brain snap with a toss-pot like Angus Monfries in final that didn't really matter anyway?
14 weeks for a $10 bet?
(We could/should have appealed that).
This clubs motto is Side by Side but we hung Heath Shaw out to dry.
Not wonder he was happy to call it a day at the club his family had help make GREAT!!
When we lost Heater!
We also lost his passion!

^No Pi.
I'm filthy at the little turd Monfries.
Heath Shaw had his issues, but for that incident to be "the last straw" is a football tragedy. (Monfries was the one that dragged Shaw on top of him to "earn" that free kick.)
He was/is a "Collingwood person", he played for the jumper. A rare commodity in modern footy. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

I'm a bit dense sometimes (I often mistake sarcasm for irony) but I can see that I agree with you 100%!
The Monfries bit confused me.
To me it's not really important what happened, it's more about what happened afterwards (the blame-game, the demands for total team displine* from ALL players started).
Enough was enough, no surprise he was happy to walk!

MaCaffer doing his knee, therefore extinguishing the ridiculous move of Buckley tagging Shaw, was the main impetus for the Pies breaking the shackles and playing the game with the necessary creativity and spirit. |
