Maybe next week they can rest a dozen or so and loan us 7 or 8 to make a game of it.
Ugh damn they look dangerous when they get on a roll.
Anyways I think it's more about how we play than the result.
4 competitive quarters is all I'm hoping for |

We can all hope for round 22 2010 in reverse.
Hawks play bruise free footy and we pinch the 4 points. |

Or a Cyril Rioli if I remember that game correctly. |

Im very relaxed and comfortable bout this game now,the hawks won easy tonight, so wont be in a shitty mood,,they may even rest a few stars. I reckon we will have a big go at em, and of course id love us to cause a huge upset, but with our lack of personnel, I cant honestly see it happening. Im happy now anyway, the win today by us was just so gutsy, and I see a new era coming for the Pies, with all these wonderful kids we have. long as we have a go at the hawks, we have nothing to lose really, just give em hell for the whole game.! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

If we had a Side Close to Full Strength we would of been a Real Chance but with the Players out it would be a Miracle if we win.
Though we all hope we still have a Real Crack on Friday Night _________________ I am Da Man |

Has Clarkson got a history of resting players in the final week?
If swans win big tomorrow, it's pretty much a guarantee they will finish first, there is no incentive this week for the hawks to win other than momentum.
There is a small chance that they may want to finish top to play freo/port but for that to happen they would need swans to lose to Richmond, given that they just beat the cats I'm sure they would be better placed to rest this week. |

We have nineteen players now out. So assuming Clarkson rests:
Roughead, Gibson, Mitchell, Rioli, Gunston, Shiels, Lewis, Hill, Birchall, Spangher, Breust, Lake, Duryea, Smith, Hodge, Hale, Burgoyne, Stratton and Langford I think we can win. _________________ Magpies love pies(Lol) |

It's really just a simple matter at selection this week. I'm picking the emergencies to be Lynch, Yagmoor and Ramsay. That will leave Gault as the only fit player not named on the sheet. Poor Gaulty. He will feel lonely. As for the VFL team playing a final with three or four AFL listed players what the hell is going to happen there? I wouldn't think we would have enough on the VFL list to make up the other twenty we need. Lachie Ferguson at Full forward and at full back? _________________ Magpies love pies(Lol) |

Hawks won't rest any players, not against us. They will set out to smash us as their fans demand and probably will do just that. The Hawks ain't GWS. _________________ "Only the weak believe that what they do in battle is who they are as men" - Thomas Marshall - "Ironclad". |
