Never been convinced of the merits of recruiting Young but he's been better than I'd expected this year. The mistakes he makes are glaring and that counts against him in supporter opinion. I can see him being retained but squeezed out of the senior team with developing players like Seedsman, Langdon, Oxley and Scharenberg overtaking him. |

A bloke who plays almost every game in the season isn't simply turfed out. Young's done pretty well this year. I'd be very disappointed if Seedsman doesn't go past him next year, but this season, Young has been our best running backman.
I also have no doubt that the likes of Young, Seedsman, Scharenberg etc are a big part of Buckley's plans. We've been looking for run and long kicking from half back over a few years now, these three definitely provide it (well, the reports on Scharenberg say he does ). _________________ Well done boys! |

Concur An Inkling Scharenberg would be a big part of it. I believe freeman also has a big role to play.
In the pre season I think the 22 bucks had in mind and the style we wanted to play doesn't resemble the side we have and the style we are playing.
You can see Seedsman going through the centre and kicking long we look a lot better.
Injuries have hurt but more importantly it's key injuries ie Reid Brown Schranberg to our structure have hurt more. |

Sidey for Bruest? FFS what are people on?
Get rid of Keeffe? NFI 203 cm backmen dont grow on trees
Hertier Young Blair have very little trade value and little guarantee that the recruiys will do better in under three years.
Also TPP and contract need to be considered remember players contract are still included in the salary cap so unless out of contract they will stay. |
Stop that, rational thought completely out of place. |

[quote="rocketronnie"]Buckley to go first lol.
Blair (too small really and while he mostly tries he is too small to dominate opposition players).
Keefe - (ditto a trier but really isn't a league footballer)
Josh Thomas (useless).
Pathetic Ronnie! all these blokes have a real crack! _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

Maxy and Q Stick will retire as will Huddo (from the AFL anyway)
Ball and Swan might retire
Clarke will be let go
Armstrong, Ramsay, Sinclair all looking over their shoulders if Swan and Ball go on.
Harry, Blair, Toovey trade-able
Rookies
Mooney, Yagamoor will be let go |

Another move could assist our forward line dramatically, and that is the replacement of Matthew Lappin with a better credentialed forwards coach. You will recall Bucks taking that role in 2010 with great success and the immediate action from MM to give him a lesser role in case the supporters realised Bucks important role in winning the Premiership. _________________ Happiness is being a Collingwood Football Club Member! Maxwell has retired, Ball, Hudson and Lynch will retire.
Clarke, and the rookies Yagmoor will be let go.
White, Armstrong, Ramsey and the rookies Mooney and Gault will be given one more year but White would need to lift his game to stay beyond 2015 and the other four need to break into the Seniors next year or they would be gone.
Young and Blair will be retained but may play a lot less games in the Firsts.
Lamumba and Toovey are required players who still give us more than their occasional mistakes cost us.
Sidebottom is our fourth best midfielder (third best at the moment while Swan is injured) and should not be traded in any circumstances. _________________ Born and raised in Black and White |
