It's fair to say now that we haven't.
Our list despite injuries is good enough for top 8 I would have thought.
I doubt we'll make the finals now.
Despite being a Buckley fan no one individual is bigger than the club and right now serious questions need to be asked of the coach.
Problem is I doubt Ed and Pert have the balls to do so.
For mine If we haven't significantly improved by the half way point of next season then it's time to look elsewhere for a coach. |
Yes, but now you could say the same about Ports coach, Hinkley, Port have fallen into a big hole, and might miss top four now. Like a few weeks ago, Hinkeley was the bees knees at alberton, Port were flying, now they have lost four on the trot. so, do they now get rid of Hinkely too. ?? You can only blame the coach for so much, I think our kids have tired out now, the loss of reid, brown and Elliott has killed us, and its time for Martin and Karnezis to come in, and of course Keefe. that was a big error, dropping Keefe, no doubt at all. |
Like it was a big mistake to drop White last week? _________________ Defender...........

Agree with everything you've said. I felt we needed to improve this year to legitimise Buckley as a coach. It looked like we had, but it's hard to see that improvement at the moment. This is why I felt the extension was premature. With the extension in place, Buck will get at least till half way next season. We're going to have to show more than we have to this point. _________________ Well done boys! |

He has taken the team progressively backwards in each year. |

Hinkley inherited a piece of shit Port side and got it into finals in his first year and contending for top 4 in his second. All the while playing an exciting and exhilarating brand of football.
Buckley inherited an outstanding Collingwood side and has taken it steadily and rapidly backwards in an extraordinary space of time. Plus we play a woeful, boring and error ridden brand of football that every decent club in the AFL has worked out and found wanting.
Yeah I do blame the coach for so much. He's taken away the spirit of this side. Moving on Heater, falling out with Didak. Jolly etc, making Swan, Lumumba and Cloke lesser players. He's ultimately responsible and no one else. |

The coach has the final say on selection and our selection has been questionable for a while and total fail the last couple of weeks. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

We must change our forwards coach for next year.
Nothing has changed in 3 years, in fact it's gotten worse. If we keep Lappin in charge then insanity will have definitely set in at Pie land. _________________ Hearing the 'Black & White Army' roar is the greatest sound in the world. |

Sorry Joel, "...and before then" is a long time ago in football terms, and won't get us 8th spot, and right now, that is what the club deserves. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Embarrassing Crap Football, from The Collingwood F.C. The only good thing for me is I don't have to drive back to Warragul from the G. The last 2 Months the only gear the Pies can find is Reverse ( _________________ The Mighty Pies |

Seriously, how low do we have to go before the club moves him on?I have a feeling that if his name wasn't Nathan Buckley he would have been moved on by now. |
