Post subject: Should we extend Bucks until 2020?
|
My question about Bucks is genuine? Should we extend him until 2020? I am thinking more that we should. I love what he stands for and the way he is moulding the side into a competitive force. We still have a long way to go, but hey! who else is out there that could do a better job? I am sick of some of the wingers on here who bag the Coach when we lose or bag the players for one or two bad performances. Yes I have been guilty of this very rarely, but after calming down I am always a black and white biased fan who hates every other club. Equally I can't stand the fans who never see anything wrong with our poor GF performances or lack of ultra competitive effort. Honest fans would be prepared to kick us when we need kicking and praise us for great wins. The club needs more of these fans. Sycophants and house husband piss weak types we need less of. So for me Bucks is the one who can deliver. Lets back him in until 2020. _________________ I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for. |

2020 is too short.
malthouse and Sheedy have proven that a coach can reach borderline senility and still be able to confuse journalists at the after match press conference.
I vote to extend Bucks until 2035. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

How dare you, you're nothing but a club plant to suggest that. I didn't fight and die in 6 wars to take that kind of crap from you. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

You fought with the Royal Standbacks. You are a plant. I observe a strong Richmond supportive flavour in most of your posts over the years. Fess up you puss! _________________ I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for. |

It would save the club money in the long run.
He'll be able to charge what he likes after we've won a couple of flags.
This is why Bucks wouldn't go for it _________________ they can smell what we're cookin' |

Wait till after the Suns game. If we lose, extend his contract till 2025 as he clearly needs more time. If we win, 2020 should be long enough. _________________ Well done boys! |

Yes the club extended his contract just before the season commenced which now means that his current contract will conclude at the end of the 2016 season if Bucks ends up still being coach at that stage. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

No to Buckley - but yes to Hiss!
Hiss reminds me of the kind of inspiring talker Alan Jones was for the Wallabies a few decades back - of course Jones has taken his gift of the gab to a new level on radio... but seriously Hiss has a bit of Alan Jones about him and is wasted on Nicks and under Bertha's thumb - clearly the guy is to modest to suggest such a thing - but I will... time is right for Hiss - C'mon Eddie lock it in! _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |
