It's possible that at seasons end, one C. Judd is, expected by Carlton, to hang up the boots.

I don't think Judd will be a free agent at seasons end? I'm not sure if he is or is not, but for arguments sake, we'll say he is.

And then we'll say he wants to play a season or two longer at a different club, and for next to nothing.

So..... If it were up to you, would you sign Judd for 1 season?

No.

He's basically past it, he has nothing that we need. We already have leadership and experience in our midfield and we have good players queued up to get a spot in it. I can't see a busted up Judd being the icing that would snatch us a flag and to be honest I'd rather do it with the players we currently have.

I guess you'd feel like he doesn't deserve to get a game here. But he had a decent game last night.

Maybe Essendon will ask the question. (They might need players and good media "hype").

He has the runs on the board for any club to chase him, but I think his injuries are a concern and not sure that he has much of a career post this season. which lead me to say no, if we'd go back 3 seasons I'd probably consider it more.

No! Judd's past it and would be worth too much for just one year.

We're a young developing team, not a team that needs veterans at this stage.
