Wow, no really big matches there. Might be interesting to see how the newly shaky Hawks go against a mid-range team, but otherwise the only really interesting game is Fremantle vs Adelaide on Sunday. All the rest look like walkovers (well, Bulldogs vs Brisbane could go close, but, yeah). _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

You never know, David - there's a possibility Geelong could be competitive this week, so that one might not be a walkover. |

Good to see the Blooz have given Waite a chance to push someone over in the dying seconds again this week! |

Potential for a couple of upsets this week, I'm thinking GWS over the Bummers and Eagles over the Dorks.
On tonight's game, I just can't wait to see who loses. Always prefer the blews to lose but they couldn't get any lower than last week so no biggy... but another loss for the cats would be devastating for them. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Definitely going for Carlton. Good for us if the teams around us keep losing, and there's precious little chance that the Blues are going to be playing top 8 at this rate.
GWS over Essendon is a big call. I reckon the Bombers will get home by 10 goals. Eagles over Hawks seems a little more possible—that could well be a close one. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I'm not sold on the bummers. They beat a very mediocre team last week and their for form has been pretty ordinary for 6 weeks, only just beating the Lions and Doggies, getting smashed by us and the Swans and lost to St.Kilda. May be the spark they needed though, who knows? Watched GWS last week, they were very impressive and if they can repeat that intensity at home, I think they're a great chance. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Would love a Geelong loss, don't see it happening though. |

The same mediocre team that smashed GWS by 110 points a fortnight ago. Going on that, perhaps I should have said Essendon will beat them by 160 points.
Still not sure what to make of the Hawthorn–GWS match last week. Were GWS brilliant, Hawthorn terrible or some combination of both? _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |
