i had Fas and Beams in my top 5 GB medal votes.
Surprised anyone from North got recognised.
H was a surprise to me as I did not capture him in my Pies top 5 yet he rated very highly
AFL website has Pendles on 19. Is that incorrect? _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

Incorrect. Pendles has a 10, a 9 and a 3.
-------------------------
Interesting breakdown.
We don't know which coach gave their 5 votes to.
5 & 3 to two of the 8 voters and 4 & 4 to the other.
2 & 1 to Pendles.
2 to Cunnington and 1 to Frosty. _________________ Donny.

I didn't think Beams was close to top 5. Herry had a ripper.
Originally I did have Fas as our second best, but realised that it was an overestimation. I agree with the coaches, Sidebottom, Cloke, Lumumba and Pendles were all better. Probably Swan too. Wouldn't have had any Roos in the top 5. _________________ Well done boys! |

If Beamer wasn't even close to your top 5, meaning he was somewhere around 8th. best or worse, what's he gotta do to get your attention ?
25 disposals, 8 tackles (the most for us), no frees against and 2 goals.
Harry didn't lay a single tackle. _________________ Donny.

^^Not close was probably overstating it . Would have had him about 7th or 8th. He had quite a good game, but we had a lot of good players. For the record, I'd have had (and note that I weight first half performance greater than second half, given the game was just about decided by then):
1. Sidebottom
2. Lumumba
3. Cloke
4. Pendles
5. Swan
6. Fas
7. Beams _________________ Well done boys! |

Ink has never rated Beams anywhere near as high as we do. For no other reason it seems other than he isn't one of his favourites. Ink & I have had many little run ins with regards to this over time. |

i think people get seduced by the numbers from beams. even though he gets the ball i think he butchers it as much as any player we have. i am with you on this ink man.
also, judgement on players should be made when the game is up for grabs and the impact and influence players have at that time. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

^^This isn't true. I only didn't rate him early in his career . Now he's definitely a quality player. Saturday wasn't one of his best though, without the goals it would have been a fairly ordinary day in comparison to the rest of the team. _________________ Well done boys!

76% efficiency says he did just fine. - 8 tackles also says he worked hard. I don't think he was BOG either but saying he butchers it is a stretch. |

Ahhh - So he must be the 7th or perhaps 9th worst player in the league?
Stevie J is #1 - What a hack. Cotchin @ 3 - trade him
Beams last full season he won a Copeland. I think he has some runs on the board JW. I reckon he is a gun. |

Surest of our mid fielders for set shot kicking for goal (one knock i'd have on Pendles), kicking another 2 on the weekend. i think his disposal is generally pretty good and hard fought too. Provides run, does the hard stuff and finishes off when up forward. I rate him very highly. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |
