I don't mind not having footy, it's the damn radio that drives me batty. All they can talk about, all bloody day, is what people are doing to celebrate bloody Easter. Farnarkle me, if you're the sort of person who celebrates Easter, the last thing you would be doing at Easter is listening to the damn radio! Talk about something bloody else, FFS! Football, cricket, politics, music, cooking, climate change, cinema, anthropology, economics, your sister's hysterectomyI don't fnucking care, just stop talking about bloody Easter FFS!
This is my Christmas rant transposed. Two days a year are dead, dead days. If you don't happen to be doing anything, you have to endure an entire day of inane, mindless chatter about a subject with zero, repeat zero interest, and it's the same damn chatter you have heard on the same damn day of the year last year and every other damn year! And it's on every single bloody station. TV too. A few times I have been caught driving long distances on Easter or Christmas, and it's a bloody purgatory. (This year I'm up a ladder painting, same deal.) Put a little test cricket - or even bloody Rugby League if there is nothing else - on the radio and I'll drive from Adelaide to Brisbane in what feels like half an hour. Put that bloody Easter Easter Easter shit on and it takes about a week to get from Bourke Street to bloody Collins Street.
God, I'd probably even listen to soccer if I had to, and it doesn't get any more serious than that. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

Put some music on man!
Just don't jiggle and wriggle whilst up the ladder
Or get a talking book - I love them when I am travelling/ driving.

Yeah. Don't listen to the radio - play your own tunes, Jazz will be a nice start. _________________ understanding stuff, with endeavour to overstand.. |

Change the radio station to something that plays some music.
i'm driving to NSW today. Rest of the day, dunno but it will be better than being home.
In a country that's supposedly not Christian, why we close down on Good Friday has got me stuffed. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

there was football on:
Canterbury Bankstown defeated South Sydney by a point
Manly defeated North Queensland by 5 points, and yet again the Carlton of the north won with the rub of the green from the maggots.
the Rebels beat the Force 22-16 in Melbourne
Melbourne Victory defeated Sydney FC
football was out there, it just needs to return to FTA television. |

Can't believe Essendon are pushing hard to be one of the clubs involved.

From a marketing perspective it fits with Hird either being the messiah or a martyr |

Yet with absolutely nothing on and everyone wanting something to do so badly in Melbourne, the FFA put on a match between their 2 biggest clubs in a final and they only got 22,000! |

I don't blame them. Depending on who you ask, the only thing more boring than Good Friday is soccer. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Thankfully for soccer fans a game doesn't last as long as Good Friday. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
