Post subject: whats a true supporter? | |
|
i was reading a topic started bye Klf and it seemed that nobody really knew what a true supporter was... and too tell u the truth im not 100% sure either!
but i do have what i think is a slight idea...
i think a true supporter is someone who will put their club infront of a lot of things... who loves and bleeds the club, who is effected emotionally bye results and supports them threw thick and thin... a true supporter is certainly not a person who will be at every game when the club is on fire, then when there not doing too good, just jump off and loss faith and passion until they come good again.
dont you think so? richmond have sooooooo much of them! it makes me sick at times and i know some richmond supporters that are exactly the same, when their losing they'll never say a word about football, never go to any games and turn off them totally, then when they start to win games, they start to stir u up again, go to the games and have opinion after opinion.
now that bugs me... and thats what i think is NOT a true supporter... as i said before, its someone who is able to support their club threw thick and thin, that doesnt mean attending all the games, i know a lot of people (from this site) who cannot make it to many games due to distance, family or work commitments, but are as bigger supporters of the club than any other.
what do you think is a true suppoter?? am i off target? dont wory i wouldnt be surprised
