i think i heard balmey say last week after they signed shaw and fraser that they hoped to have rocca signed by early this week, wednesday the latest.

Agreed ffoxx.
I think he can be a future captain of the club as he shows very good leadership qualities. But whether it actually happens is another question. i think the only thing stopping him, is some people only note him for his inconsistency, he's a superstar one week, a dud the next.
I, for one, believe his last 2-3 seasons he has really stamped himself as a major superstar of the game, not just a passenger in the team going through the motions. |

Rocca leaving the pies??? hahahahahaha...that is the funniest thing suggested yet. I'll give my house away if he doesn't sign on. Regardless of when it is this signing is a given. It's almost like asking if bux would not sign if his contract was up now.
Anyone want to bet their house for mine on Rocca signing?

Not to be nasty, but did you actually read that thread? The heading of the thread is a bit misleading, because the bloke that wrote it was just asking the question. ie. What is going on, why hasn't he signed?
The guy that wrote it is a Collingwood supporter and his just being paranoid that Rocca is going to leave. I think they guy that started that thread is the only person who actually brought up Rocca going to another club. |

I think Rocca will stay. When Buckley appeared "On the Couch" someone raised the question about the next captain of Collingwood. Bucks answered either Tarkyn or Rocca. So given that he might be the next captain do you really think he would leave. I don't think so and also hope that it doesn't happen.
