Nathan Brown will be at the Bombers next year if Sheeds gets his way. No rumour file heard on that, it's straight from the horses mouth. |

I think you'd find that will be the mind set of 15 other coaches if they got their way Culpritt. No surprises there. |

Essendon are still under salary cap pressure thanks to Hirdy and Lloydy.
I don't think they will be in a position to get Brown......hang on maybe he could do his own website.

Not convinced that Nathan Brown is the bloke that we should chase. Alan Didak, Leon Davis can play similar roles. Securing the next big up and coming midfielder should be our priority. Nathan Buckley isn't going to be around for ever. _________________ Con Nose Evrythin, you see

Just quickly on the Nick Stevens one, last contract renewal Bux, MM, Balmy and Ed all flew over to see him, as he is a life long Collingwood supporter and good mates with Ben Johnson. He signed that time, but i reckon he is headed back to Melbourne this time. Last i heard, it was Scoots and MGC to Carlton, Campo and one of our picks to Port, and Stevens to Collingwood. Time will tell i spose.
About Nathan Brown, Dermie said 2 weeks ago that he heard Collingwood had already struck up a deal, but it may have fell through, i can only assume due to his price tag. Hope we can still get him, though now we are going after Robert Murphy cos he is cheaper, younger etc. Seems to be some substance in the Murphy one because he is the Bulldogs no 1 priority and he has called all negotiations off. Unfortunately, Essendon are also after these two players |

Hardwick was handy when he was at Essendon. Port was right at the time to recruit him to give them hardness in the back half.
As for Campo....why would Port need him?
Don't delude yourself.
Campo to Bulldogs for Murphy or Brown makes more sense.
Bulldogs take duds like Campo all the time.

I dont think Hardwick is a tough player its a mis conception that Dean Wallis had during his career.
I dont think the Power would want Campo as they already have a strong midfield with Francou to return next year. I think recruiting Campo would go against the Bulldogs youth policy. Camporeale is probably only useful to a team who is looking at a premiership in the next year or two and needs their midfield bolstered with an outside type dont wanna get my jumper dirty or my hair messed up type player (ie Caracella at Brisbane)
My point was they (Port) do sometimes recruit washed up hacks.

Hardwick is hard at it and Wallis was tough....just ask Mil Hanna how his head felt after Wallis dented it in 1993 GF.

So you think what Wallis did was a tough act ?? I consider tough to be more the mould of Glen Archer or John Worsfold.

Lones 37, you might be on the money with Nathan Brown or Robert Murphy goin to the Pies. I spoken to Scotty Palmer at Lous 80th b'day and he seemed preety confident that we will get one or the other but then again its the same story evey year, suppose we'll have to wait and see. |

I'd like to see Murphy wearing the Black and White rather than Nathan Brown. He'd bolster our midfield nicely and add some exta skill and pace. The kid has an exceptional football brain. _________________ Con Nose Evrythin, you see
