Post subject: PIES V SWANS Match nearing sellout | |
|
Just a reminder to anyone travelling to Sydney for this game, the Collingwood section is now a sellout and there is only a few areas available. 65000 plus expected so make sure if you are planning to come along you buy your tickets this week. _________________ Join the Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club soon to be the most supported club in Sydney |

That would be great for football in NSW if this game does become a sell out. Well done Collingwood fans we are the only ones who can fill stadiums. By the sounds of it, it is going to be a record crowd at the venue for an AFL match. |

I think it can hold 80,000 but it is still better to get in early in case you miss out. |

They had about 70,000 to the Wallabies game and that was a sellout.
Problem is the Swans sold a 3 game pass for Stadium Aust games. Apparently 20,000 of these were sold. The leaflet went to every household in Sydney. So that would leave 60,000 available tickets. Add to the corporate seats that usually take up about 5,000 and this stadium is down to about 55,000. With 15,000 Collingwood supporters going it doesn't leave too many for the general public. _________________ Join the Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club soon to be the most supported club in Sydney |

Saw an ad of Foxtel for this game advertising that "The Magpie Army is coming" and for all swans "fans" to pledge their support for fear of an invasion. Running scared already. Think they're a bit worried we'll outnumber their 'supporters', a whole two of them! |

You gotta get em from Ticketek. There is an outlet in Melbourne that I know of, upstairs from the Coles Supermarket in the Ackland or Akland Court Shopping Centre St Kilda. |
