Post subject: What should we do with Dids?? | |
|
IMO Dids talents are being wasted at the moment. He is best in the FP but is not getting enough oppertunities. ATM he doesn't read play well enough in the middle and seems to not go in to win the ball.
He will be a star but is stagnating. Any opinions??? |

Well firstly...Wait for Did's to have played 130 odd games and to beef up on the roids for any real comparison here. But at the end of the day, ummmm...I dunno if I'd want Did's to get into the habit of sniping opposition players when their heads are over the ball. Not good for the game.
You know my stance Jen, but why bother? I repeat myself over and over in these Didak threads but people will always think what they want to.....What can I do?
BUT...I will say, before people want to go hanging a 20 year old who has only played 43 games and approximately 20 of those with any real ground time....I would just like to point out that Didak has a lot of mates atm and perhaps a closer look should be taken at a few of them. |

"He will be a star but is stagnating" ??????? He's having a good year IMO, 26 goals and is third in our goal kicking after Taz (45) and Ant (35) not to shabby for a forward pocket and is yet to hit his straps. _________________ Pain heals, Chicks dig scars, Glory..... lasts forever! |

I'll say this, he's a talented young player, and should be put in the forward pocket, to crumb any drop marks by Tarrant, Molloy, or Rocca when they are playing there. If Leon Davis ever makes it back in, put him in the other pocket, and move Molloy to Half Forward. Then you have someone ready to grab the loose ball once it spills free, that has been a problem for Collingwood. Most of the other teams have been getting the ball out of the forward line quickly after a dropped mark. Even if you had him at Half Forward then he could help there, he'll come good, he's just in bad time right now. _________________ Ðavâgé

No one needs to worry...he's destined to become machine status in the footsteps of Daicos, Ablett and Lloyd. Why? Like those 3 he originally played soccer.
Laugh if you will, but it does wonders for mental awarness.
We got him at no 4 in the draft...once motivated and confident he'll be rockin'. |

Perhaps his kicking will improve by borrowing Rocca's goal kicking boots (if they fit of course! ) |

He should seek out Rowdy for some more one on one. I don't know if he has been doing that this year. His hardness at the contest has gone missing.
I would give him one more game to atone as he was not alone in a shitfull effort against the Bears. |
