^Then we might lose the game at the selection table.
For what it's worth channel 9 reported that both Lynch and Brown trained and seem likely to play.

Eddie certainly was!
Take it one week at a time. Tomorrow night is 50/50. I don't think we match up well against Port (we are too slow around the ground and Port likes to move the ball at lightning pace), and remember what they did to us last time.
One more thing. Port was clearly sandbagging in the second half last week. They were resting up for the match against us. That's exactly why they let Carlton slip into the finals. |

I'm sure they'll wear the fine and add whoever they need if either Brown or Lynch are late withdrawals. |

Eddies comments were about having Subi unavailable for Saturday night are equally applicable for Port. It was about the poor judgement of the ground admin to limit AFL access. Move on. |

Do you think Eddie gives a toss about Port? He was speaking specifically about how this would affect Collingwood. For it to happen it requires us to win (not certain) and Freo to lose, because if they win we won't be playing them. |

Looking at the teams side by side we are going in with one tall more than Port. Could be late change with Elliot for Lynch in which case Maxwell may need to pinch in the ruck ( which he has done a coupe of times this year) or one of Reid or Keefe having a go.
Was anyone at training to see of any of these players did some ruck drills? _________________ I think therefore I think - I think |

Not quite, as Port played on the Saturday so it will not be playing on 2 x 6 day breaks. That is Eddie's concern. It's right to have that concern but wrong to voice it publicly before we have cleared the first hurdle. Eddie still banging on about it again last night on the game coverage on Fox.

It's finals time people.
No negative crap today, no infighting amongst ourselves, it's time to really get side by side and support this absolutely awesome football club.
For the 8th year in a row they have given us the privilege of attending a final, that's a stunning result and the club deserves all our support tonight.
Go Pies. |
