That was a win from a side that is the 6th best side in the comp. That's about as good as its going to get for us.
I think that the Port game will be no gimmie because I'm sure we will come back flat after the bye.
Can someone also tell me why soft coc7s like Gia always do well against us? Put a knee in his Fu$&en back and see if he goes near it.
Hymie needs to be dropped, pure and simple. He just can't kick. When was the last time he put a kick down the throat of a teammate? _________________ "There have been injuries and deaths in boxing, but none of them serious." (Alan Minter) |

Awesome first half, pathetic second half. Boys are in bye mode after half time.
No biggie, a win is a win. We are a seriously good team if we can play like the first half in every qtr to come. Good to see the kids coming along nicely.
Best for me: Shaw, Swan, Pendles, Williams, Thomas. Reid was also good before getting the vest, hope his injury is not too serious! _________________ Side By Side. Back To Back. COLLINGWOOD - 2010 PREMIERS and Beyond |

Lucky we kicked straight. Pretty awful really. I think the selectors are getting it wrong. Didak and Krak should both be in that team and the young bloke Paine has got to be worth a try as the second tall forward. _________________ Bob Rose....the measuring stick of humanity |

A win, but pretty woeful, take away the two umpire assisted goals in the third and i think we scored one goal in second half (Martin). Swanny was looking like he was going to tear them apart, but half of his 30+ disposals were shanked selfish kicks for goal or handballs to team mates under pressure.
Grave fears for upcoming game against the scum, if we turn in another insipid performance where we only play 1 decent half of football against Port. _________________ "Hey Ma get off the dang roof!" |

Weak effort that.
2nd half lacked character.
Selection terrible. Buckley must be accountable for this. |

I fell asleep, but whatever. WE didn't finish them off but they were playing a pretty boring brand of football ( the dogs ). Had 2+ behind the ball from the get go. I would have got bored if i was playing them as well |

Shaw was truly magnificent
And he didnt get up and deck that mongrel that hit him , big plus
Cloke wonky from 15 m and then kicks two from the stands! And he got free kicks!!
Sinkers not bad, josh Thomas best yet, marley fantastic down back, more pendles silk from seeds
But oh shit I would just love to see us play it out and blow someone away _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Ditto. No big deal. Game was won at half time. 4 quarter performance would have been nice, but with so much youth in the team we are going to be a little erratic. Ball, Beams, Young & Krak will add a fair bit of class & poise to the team. |

A win is a win is a win. Heaps of injuries and a bye coming up so a chance to reload for the run home. Obviously our main target will be to finish top 4. THe Dogs are so insignificant and so bereft of credibility that you can easily go into auto- pilot against them |

Great first half, totally erased by the pathetic second half.I think it goes without saying that we are playing far too many kids at the moment, and that's why the team is struggling to play four consistent quarters of football.
The forward line is really dysfunctional at the moment. If Cloke doesn't mark it,then we look totally lost up there. We're getting nothing out of Lynch, and need another key forward to take the pressure off Cloke. But who can we turn to? |

how was selection terrible? couldn't have been too bad given the 53 point lead at half time. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |
