Collingwood captain NATHAN BUCKLEY might be available for Monday's AFL match against Melbourne after some good news on his hamstring problem.

The Magpies say he has soreness, rather than a strain, and the hamstring doesn't need a medical scan.

But he's still only rated a 50-50 chance to play next week and Collingwood won't take any chances with its number one player.

Of Collingwood's other injured players, ruckman STEVE McKEE is rated the best chance to resume from his shoulder problem.

I just hope they wait until he's 100% right before bringing him back. It was obvious after the Carlton game that he was carrying some sort of injury and now he seems to be injured all the time. He can't carry the team. And there's no reason why he should. There's plenty of other players around to put their hands up.

I hope Rintoul comes back soon.

What about Burns? Will he EVER play for us again?

And they're saying Adkins played a blinder for Willy.

Burns he has had a bad year from injuries thourgh 2 a Virus Infection.. his a good vice captain and he keeps 2 himself 2
