Yep he started with Reservoir Old Boys in the early 70s when they dominated the amateurs for a few years then he went to the Pies - I remember seeing him go one on one with Leigh Matthews at a game at Princes Park? Matthews has mentioned him as a tough nut in a few interviews. Easy to remember him cos few players in those days had tatts. _________________ Now, gentlemen, let us do something today which the world may talk of

I remember Kevin and Murray Weideman coming to do a school clinic at Heidelberg West Primary School in 1976. The weed was the current coach but with the Pies on the bottom of the ladder we were dirty on him, so with his tatts and being a local bloke, Grosey was the king of the kids for the day. Sad news that he has passed away. |

We used to call him "Disneyland" when i was standing on beer cans in the outer at Vic Park... RIP to a courageous player for the B&W. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |
