Hadn't thought about again till I saw the replay last night.

After OB kicked his 4th in the last quarter, the umpires all met in the middle of the ground.

What was it about? Has it got anything to do with the "ball hits the flags" thread at http://www.magpies.net/nick/bb/viewtopic.php?t=11326&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=

LOL>>>......

I was listening to ABC radio and watching Nick's live scoreboard and chat, and that is what was said, that the goal ump had signalled a goal, then there was talk of the ball might have hit the flags, and the goal umpire could not confirm......so the goal stands. Not sure if they can change the score once the all clear has been given and the goal signalled anyway.

Haven't seen the replay at all...Tessa, record it for me on your foxfooty channel so i can watch it when we come over on Friday!

Here's what they were doing!

Umpire one was in need of a leak, so he decided to ask the other umpire if he could leave the ground. And the umpire replied

"Hold it!" - Umpire one.
"Hold it?" - Umpire two.
"Yeah, hold it!" - Umpire one.
"But we're not doing nothig now....." - Umpire 2
"Oh yes we are, it's all clear!!" - umpire 1

WhyPhilWhy? m8 they were discusing if it was a goal or not as it hit the goal umps flags on the back of the post. it was a goal and they where looking for a chance to take onther gaol off of us. there was some talk about it on whiteline lastnight, and they seem to think it shoulda been a point, but the ball traveled across the goal line 1st to hit the flag, which was sticking out a mile, so it was a goal.
