Post subject: trade for trent croad | |
|
trent croad was once a highly touted young footballer who is really struggling in perth at moment. phsically he is very impressive - big kick plenty of dash and height - but cant seem 2 get into games at moment . would he be happier back in melbourne . at moment everyone is talking about chris judd , but he would cost an arm and a leg 2 get . maybe a trade with fremantle for 1 of our problem childs in leon davis could be a win win for all parties - both clubs and both players
wat do u think - could we afford 2 lose davis - do we have others who could fit in and give as much as him (which most people would agree is not much at moment - or ever) and wat would trent offer us at moment that we dont have . do we have a big man down back with zip and rebound ( i dont think wakes and presti give us that at moment ) or maybe up forward . couldnt be worse than molloy at moment (nother possible trade) has aggresion and at least kicks bags on occasions . please submit response and no , this is not a bag molly or leon thread just a win / win trade thread . fire away everyone |

Dont rate Croad very highly. There would be many many many more players i would go for before i went for Trent Croad.

A suitable trade for Trent Croad? Hmmm....let's see....
How about an old Coke yoyo with a broken string, one stick of wrigley's spearmint gum and a jason wild footy card (bent)? But Fremantle would need to come to ante up as well. |

Croad would be silly to leave Fremantle as no other club will pay him that much!!!
Croad fitted in well at the Dorks with the other pretty boys like Crawford and Dixon etc.

Versatility can often be confused with not being good enough to hold down a position.

Hey Icoulda been champ,
When Croad was being tossed up in the trade market 2 years ago by hawthorn, do you remember how everybody was saying how collingwood would get him.
Well Malthouse had a meeting with croad to check out what type of person he was, and apparently after 10-15 minutes mick had had enough and ended the meeting. He thought that croad was not the right type of kid for him to coach becuase he was big headed and vein and was in his view uncoachable and not worth the cost.
So stuff Trent Croad, bring home wirrpunda (healesville repping) and Judd. _________________ practice makes perfect but perfect practice makes a champion-peter daicos |

I'm prepared to give you 1 slightly damaged Sean White from the Cazaly Classics series (card no. 1) in exchange for a current Trent Croad.
I'll throw in a mint condition Warwick Capper (card 76) in exchange for a current Clive Waterhouse AND Peter Bell too.
No other trades accepted. |

Maybe if they'd trade him for ben kinnear i'd want that trade to happen, that's about all that trent croad is worth, but who knows people who are shit for freo tend to come good for other teams. |

I cant believe they bullied him into a pay cut,I would have told them where to go.That was putting the slipper in when someone is down,
That would have really helped his esteem.Very poor tossers, sorry dockers. |
