Post subject: Your most underachieving player in the comp | |
|
Every year pre season you will come across a double page spread on lance whitnall and his ability to read the play and his goal kicking ability and his general on field play which apparantly brings his team mates into the game.
Im now at the belief lance whitnall is the most underachieved player in the competition when collingwood play carlton whitnall no longer worries me as the player who could have a big day out and kill us.
And very close to lance whitnall as the league's most underachieving player would have to be mathew 'kick it to me ' richardson.
Thank you. _________________ Collingwood today, Collingwood tomorrow,Collingwood forever... we'll always do things the collingwood way... side by side we stick together to uphold the greatest name in football.

i disagree with comments about richo.... he is in a shocking team with the worst pack of decision makers i've ever seen.
in the above mentioned case, richo was 15 metres out from goal alone on a beaut lead and the richmond midfielder kicked it to a bloke who was 45 metres out.... although richo shouldn't crack the s**ts at his own teammates, i cannot but pity the guy; he deserves a decent team to play for!
if taz was continually ignored after making space for himself im sure he would eventually get pissed off.....and rightfully so......

Definitely agree with Whitnall over over his entire career... but I would say that Rocca has been the most underachieving player in the league for this season.
We all know how much he is capable of, and at the start of the year he was in most experts top 20s. I reakon he'd be lucky to be put in a top 150 for the league thus far this year. Must lift.
(I bet he'll have a ripper today just to prove me wrong, and I sure hope so!) |

Peter Vardy - Much expected, little returned
Nathan Eagleton - looked like something great early in his career
Chris Heffernan - Highly overrated for a bloke that never gets a kick
Jason Ball - Big things expected early on and is yet to, and probably to late for him to deliver
Nick Holland - Whats he ever done lately?
Ben Graham - The biggest underachiever of them all!
I could add Wayne Carey to that because I don't think he ever achieved as much as he gained credit for as a footballer. But he achieved quite a bit with Kelly Stevens so I wouldn't call him and underachieving player. |
