Want speed and quality at a cheap affordable price, by a Suzuki GSX1300R (Hyabusa) will set you back about $18000 and does 200 MPH straight from the shop.
Mind you at that speed you make a mistake and its bye bye. But Heck at that speed you won't get time to kiss your butt goodbye |

Game Over belongs to Joffa and the gold jacket - they pinched it.
My Supra would give your Suzuki a run for it's money. _________________ If you bleed black and white you'll never walk alone. |

I'll take you all on. My old brown hornet goes from 0-60 in about 28 seconds. At 200mph it would disintegrate....eh hows that for an adrenaline rush? eh? eh? _________________ My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

Supra Turbo standing ¼ does it in approximately 14 seconds.
Hyabusa stock does the standing ¼ in approximately 9 seconds.
Now if you spent a heap of dollars on the Supra you may pull 11 seconds, but we are talking $18000 versus how much and you may get close, but 2 seconds we are talking a fair bit of space from the finishing line. |

You are right Culprit, the bike would be faster over standing 1/4 - don't know what time the Supra would do - not game to find out.
Speedo only goes up to 320klm.
My Supra had a write up in Speed magazine, it got 2nd place on Supra Club dyno day - even beat Craig Deans race Supra - and it was only on low boost.
Game Over. |

They are an awesome car. Good result.
One of the guys I work with has a GTR Nissan. The thing does low 10's.
I don't mind dragging on a bike, doing 200mph and having someone step out in front of me is not fun. Not that I have done that, I think max I have done on a bike is 140 and that was on a track.
I think Calder charge $35 on Friday nights you can enter to see what it does. |
