Post subject: What's this about a sell-out???? | |
|
Heard Eddie talking about Sat night's game being a sell-out.
Sorry if I'm covering old ground here, but does it mean that we can't get in without a reserved ticket? Or is Level 3 at Docklands still available to those who get there early?
Confused.... |

i just wrote a huge reply here but deleted it cause i was just showing my distaste at the afl again and not really answering your question.
Basically:
* not sold out YET! but getting very close to it - tickets selling fast.
* if you dont pre-purchase tickets now then you risk not getting in on match day
* if you dont pre-purchase tickets now then you WILL have to arrive EARLY in order to get in, although entry is STILL NOT guaranteed (depending on how ticket sales go friday and saturday before the game).
* costs $5.25 for reserved seat on level 3 if you have a membership
I'm usually pretty wary when the AFL release statements saying its gonna be sold out, and i try to avoid pre-purchasing tickets unless its absolutely necessary (eg anzac day). however i went and bought a ticket today, cause i'm not in a gambling mood for this match. Basically thats what not pre-purchasing a ticket is - a gamble.
my bet is it will probably be called a sell-out before the start of the match, yet the official attendence will still be a couple of thousand below capacity. |

Adgree basically if we don't pay the $5.25 we have to get there early which means one way or another you spend alot more having a drink before the game.Damn if beer and bourbon is bad for us why must it taste so good ???? |

Went and got the pre-purchased ones. A bit of a joke for a St Kilda game!!
I must be way behind the game!! Am I the only one who didnt hear about it before yesterday because the lady at Ticketmaster said that it had been a pre-booked game for a week?? |
