Credit to Matthew Lokan, because he is a fantastic player, but is he as good as the hard hitting Rupert Betheras? They play similar roles, but i think Rupert plays his role better.
Also, were is Heath Scotland, he should also be in the team??? |

maybe. could depend on match ups but i dont know a huge amount about the st kilda forwards. i think rupe has been ok at willy without doing anything special, likewise scotland. mcgough had 40 odd touches last week but the main change will be for presti. cloke is the obvious choice - praying its not kinnear. i'd rather walker or richo get a game ahead of ben. |

drop lokan? your crazy! two games ago he shut down McLeod! He's fast, good long kick and will get better with experience. Rupert, as much as i love him, has peaked. |

Lokan and Rubert play similar roles?
what a load of hog wash
There roles are vastly different
The reason why McGough and Betheras were dropped from the side a couple of weeks ago was because of lack of intensity at the ball
their lack of hard tackles cost them and that's why they went back to the magoos
Cloke was dropped because he didn't follow team rules and more imortantly man up on his opponents closely enough he wanted to play off his man and do his own thing
cloke will play this week and probably take hamill |

But isn't Rupe a Centreman and Lokan is a Forward/Backman? _________________ "The minute you start talking about what you're going to do if you lose, you have lost." |

Lokan was full forward for Port Adelaide (in the SANFL), but was dropped to the reserves when his form dropped, as far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong). Judkins saw some potential in him as a backman, so I guess you are right in regards to him.
I don't mind Rupert as a goal sneak, but if he isn't in form then he shouldn't be brought back to the seniors. |
