Started the season on fire and the flame has gone out. One of my favourite players and I am bloody disapointed. No tackling, missing easy shots.
Get foccused Dids, get back to the hard work and what you did last year.
Your only as good as your last game as the old cliche goes.
Pull your finger out.

I don't think Culprit is bagging him.......just saying he could do a little better!!!
Didak is one of a number of Pies who are just seeming to be going through the motions.
Hand on your heart and tell me who is having a very good season for us besides Bucks and Taz..... |

Consistant every game has been Burns. Lica is just starting to hit form. The rest are up and down and are going through the motions. |

Once again I think expectation is what causes a call for a lift in his game. Can anyone here honestly say they weren't excited at his wiz cup performances? I know I was. Since the real games have started Dids hasn't performed in the same manner.
He will get there but like many others, he just needs a kick start. _________________ My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

Did's is only 20 years old and still has a lot more developing to do both on the ground and off the ground. He is in his third season, thus far has only played 32 games.
He has shown glimpses of his terrific skill and what he is capable of, so much so that it has woken up quite a few of the opposition coaches. His brilliant Wizard Cup form was proof of that. You compare the opponents he gets this year to the ones he had last year in most games.
Just to name a few thus far................
Against Carlton he had Andrew McKay, Brisbane he had Chris Johnson,(mind you, who beat him on the night, and it would have been not the case had Did's kicked straight!) and then against Essendon he was minded by Mark Johnson, all quality, experienced, tough Premiership players.
He may not be doing all that much just yet, but when we have been pretty ordinary in some early wins, despite being quiet, he has bobbed up and slotted through goals when required. The game against Carlton for one thing was critical when he kicked two last quarter goals.
It is unfair to be so harsh on a 20 year old, who's being tagged hard almost every week. Every player has to get used to close attention, perhaps he should be doing a tad more and be able to create more play as a permanent forward pocket atm but i'm sure with time & maturity this will come.
BUT at least without playing well he is still able to capitalize on limited opportunities. |

Hey hal do you ever say more than a few words??? You may not but what you say is correct mate. I don't believe for a second that we should be srutinising individual palyers. Most of the boys in the team are having ordinary runs at the moment. Didak is learning a lot, and over the past few weeks has had some pretty experienced opponents play him. At the moment he seems to be getting caught on the wrong side of play because his opponent is pushing him that way. When he learns this facet of the game he will become literally unstoppable. I don't know about you all but I like the way MM is handling our younger guys by rotating them. The more experience they get the better they become.
Confidence is down at the moment, but we showed on Sat that when we put our heads down we can play some pretty magnificent footy. We have just got to stop allowing the opposition from getting the jump on us.
When we achieve this we will be very hard to beat. I assure you there are a lot of sides hoping that we never hit true form, because they know what is in store.
GO PIES!!!!! _________________ All this may be summed up in one word - CHARACTER - and if that is not worth developing, nothing is.

Leon not performing doesn't help him. Also the other Davis used to take the opposition's best small defender, not Didak is copping him. |
