LOL Magpie Greg....I knew this would get some sort of response from yourself, seeing as he is in your cross-hairs at the minute.
I do agree that he should be worrying about St.Kilda this week. But he was probably asked the specific question and gave an honest answer. |

While I don't totally subscribe to MG's views on Woey I agree that he should focus on playing well for Collingwood and forget about the Melbourne issue of trading him.
He continues to make an issue of it instead of putting it behind him and going forward. Collingwood should put a media gag on him.
But I hope he plays a blinder against Melbourne - and against the saints. |

Personal issues are most likely to hinder performance. Look at the North situation against Adelaide. The only good thing will be thta after he has played his former team, he can (finally) move on. |

All this means that he's is going to try and put an extra 10% for this game. |

He would have been asked the question specifically. I'm sure he will be concentrating on the game this weekend. |

Despite what he says in public, I have the distinct impression that his heart still beats blue and red. He loves talking about Melbourne, he is bitter he couldn't be a one club player. He toes the political line about Collingwood but underneath he is still resentful about not being a the Dees with his mates. It shows in his season to date, a couple of good performances when he wasn't tagged and allowed to let loose, absolute mediocrity when he has been tagged. Slow as a draught horse. |

Unfortunatly thats football, there r properly many footballers who wish they only played for the one club but these days it isn't the case. Funny how the media seem to always ask these questions to the so called superstars of the game(or who the media think r great at the time, and winning a brownlow medal can't help).
3 weeks time is the QUEENS B'DAY GAME (if i am not mistaken) and i for one hope the pies win cos i'll be there and would love to see another victory live!!!!!!.
but first gotta get over the saints and then port _________________ Jarrod Molloy

i suppose you put yourself in woeys shoes you play for melbourne you win a brownlow medal you get no word that your up for trade then your gone i think you would feel bitter for a while or till you play them and go out there and show them what they missed out on.I think he will be a better player for collingwood after he plays this game against the dees as the bitterness will be out of his system. |

The good thing about Woey playing against Melbourne is that his problem is with the coaching staff and administration - not his ex-teammates.
Therefore he won't be trying to belt anyone to make a point - he will try and hurt them by playing very well - and that is what we need him to do!!
That is the difference between his situation and say - The King and Kangaroos... |

Nicholas, I would like an explanatioan of your reasoning as to how you conclude that Woey's season to date is reflected by his resentment of being traded by the dees? So he is upset that melbourne traded him, so? That is understandable, my reasoning would be that he wants to make the bastards pay for doing it to him, and thus would spur him on. So basically you're calling him a sook? I guess the kangas supporters blame any poor form by Sav on the fact that he'd rather be at the Pies. _________________ Go Pies! |

Shane Woewodin said that he is rapt to be at Collingwood. Thats good enough for me. I only bag Woewodin because I know what he is capable of. I critisised him for his attack on the ball two weeks ago but the last two games against Adelaide and West Coast his attack has been second to none. _________________ Rupe, Rupe, Rupe, Rupe, Rupe! |
