After the Game -Fat Lady Sings at Telstra Dome

Has anyone watched After the Game on Channel 10? They have a segment called When the Fat Lady Sings - some woman (not even fat) gets up and does a Rex Hunt "It's Over!!!" cry at the top of her lungs as shocked spectators look on.

I recognised her in the second quarter looking for a spot (Isle 15 top deck). She looked around, sat down amongst the crowd and waited for her cue from a cameraman.

When the Eagles kicked away in the 3rd quarter she was about to stand up and sing. But suddenly we kicked the next one, and another...and I told her to sit down.

When we kicked the first of the last, she stood up and sung (indicating a Collingwood victory was imminent). My girlfriend then said, "The fat lady wouldn't lie, would she?"

Suck my fat one, fat lady!

P.S. If anyone saw the segment on Saturday, did they say when she sang, because I know for a fact she got it wrong. If they say it was after a WC goal, they're lying!!!

Nup, they admitted on the show that she got it wrong for the first time. They showed her getting up singing after Collingwood got in front by a few goals in the last quater. Were u sitting right near her? They showed some puzzled looking spectators looking at her again, there was one fan cheering when she sung.

Never seen her, maybe our channel here in Tassie edits her out, or whatever.

on a slighty different topic.......
what does everyone think of that show? I for one like it, if you are footy smart u can enjoy it with the mix of comedy thrown in.
And the player diaries at the end are funny too.

Anyone elses thoughts??

Does anyone have a tape of last week's episode? I think I was the guy cheering as she sang!!! I was to her left (camera's right) wearing a Collingwood cap and blue jumper and jeans. I recall me being the only guy cheering at her. I would appreciate it greatly if someone could send me a copy. Thanks.
