Gee wasn't expecting that one.I thought he might had a cople more weeks at Willy to finfd touch must have been in great form at training on a high after the birth of his daughter.Maybe the pressure is off now and he will return to form.I guess he was bought in as the Wet Toast are a very quick side.Perhaps he mite even start in the centre to get him into the game and use his pace. |

Feel a bit sorry for Scotland. I would have left the team unchanged and make Leon go back through Willy. Its not like Leon was in great form prior to him missing out for the last couple of weeks.
Knowing Leon he may come out and kick 10 this week.......lol Good luck to him

What?!
Leon has barley had a kick since last August.
He doesn't deserve his spot back at the moment and Heath deserved another go. |

Yes...
I thought Rupe definitly deserved a place this week...he will never be a superstar at Willy and stand out because he can't at that level....

Betheras would be thinking what do i have to do to get into the senior team. I believe Scotland should be dropped though as he made a couple of mistakes last week. |

Scotland made a mistake fumbling a mark in the back line from a kick out and got a kick smothered in the middle. That is unfair as other players made a few more mistakes but they, unlike Heath, got the chance to redeem themselves.
How friggin UNLUCKY can Scoots get? Heath hardly ever gets the chance to prove his worth, fair enough he has come back through Willi from a knee injury, but FFS when you only get 5 MINUTES of ground time per match, what the hell are you supposed to do?
No wonder Heath has asked to be traded before, this will do NO good for his confidence, he must be feeling soooooo frustrated these days. |

The question then is:
Is it better not to touch the ball like Leon and not make a mistake
or
Is it better to touch the ball and make a mistake
I say at least Scotland touched the ball
No wonder Scotland wanted to leave the other year. If given an OPPORTUNITY im sure he would be a very good player

weve seen wat Scotland can do, and what he can do is VERY good, i agree with eveyrone that if he was given a go he could be a very good player for us |

I must admit i am so sick of the lack of consistancy by the selection committee, how mnay times can players that are showing no form retain their spots (or regain) whilst players who aren't given a shot go missing.
Two players have been constant recipients of this,i.e. Heath Scotland and Rupert Betharius. I MEAN FFS, what more can a player do (referring to rups) i saw come in for a week, play a decent match and all of a sudden, due to being in a losing side (I think the witty fans out there can figure out which game i speak of) he is immediately dropped for a side that consisted of Richard Cole...
What was cole instrumental in, granted he touched the ball, but in all honesty he and Scotland were troubled. The difference was that Cole recieved over 5 minutes more gametime than Heath (thankyou gamestats). Yet by what i read, Cole gained only 2 possessions more - plz correct me if i am wrong.
Cloke need this game to get his head straight, Leon isn't ready yet and Presti is having a hardtime running.

Cole made some pretty good tackles when he was on the ground and played with good intensity in his limited time. I have no issues with Cole being in the team. He added a bit of energy while he was on the ground.
My only issue is that Leon was not in good form prior to being left out of the team. The team has their best win of the season last week and yet Leon is rushed back into the senior side.
I would feel a bit hard done by if i was Scotland in particular and Rupert as well.
Having said that i hope Leon is used more up in the midfield and has a great game.

JLC, thats a valid point
however, too much swapping and changing may have an adverse reaction towards the players.
Leon is a great player - and his form will come no doubt
I think that the team picks a few players to work that extra mile
(i.e. Scotland/Cole/Rupe/Cloke/Leon)
These guys are fighting for a spot, let them earn it _________________ A Mitsubishi Magna is like a Mother-in-law.
