is rocca too slow?

I think it's obvious that Rocca isn't built for speed - but his other attributes well and truly make up for it - his strength, marking, long kick etc. Having said that, he still makes an effort to run hard - and he's usually on the ground for the majority of a match so he must one fit dude!

Joel, what's wrong with this thread is that it is merely re-stating the obvious. Maybe I'm being too harsh
Rocca is too slow. But too slow for what? Stawell gift, wing, fullback.
What does it mean if he IS too slow, what does it matter?
I don't understand, my head hurts.

He was slow enough to lumber past a defender and outwalk another one on his way to a goal in the 4th qtr that put us 7points up. He's quick enough...not going to break the sound barrier but he's quick enough to kick goals and take marks.

I'll take this slow bugger anyday!

Did you see how fast Carey got back up after play on was called. Poor Pebbles thought his name was going in the book because of Carey's acting. That really is cheating, but that is the kind of person Carey is!!

Rocca ain't too slow. It's the ball getting down to him that's too slow ( as we saw in the Swan's game). Let's get the ball down faster to him and we'll see the sort of player that Rocca is.
