O'bree hasn't been mentioned much since last night's win. His handballs in close were fantastic, his constant running and efforts in and around the pack were sensational. Even bobbed up for a goal. One time on the wing when the ball looked certain to go out of bounds, he somehow kept it in, shot out a handball which eventually resulted in a goal (maybe Didak). He got the handball out to Buckley at the end, didn't he? Correct me if I'm wrong, please. The Crows in that instant could have just jumped on the ball and locked it up for the siren, but to my absolute amazement they tried to move the ball on which eventually came out to Buckley and the rest is history.
Well done, O'bree. If you played for anyone else the media/commentators would be hailing you as a superstar. Same goes for most of our players. The pressure to perform in the much scrutinised Black & White must be fantastic and terrifying all at once. |

I heartily concur, DaicsMagic !! He so often got that ball out of packs and to a runner going past. Well played, O'B !! _________________ Donny.

Last night was one of his better games in a long time, I hope that is some good signs that he will be getting better. Most of the players were standing tall against the Crows let's hope that Collingwood can start and finish like that started in the 2nd Quarter and the rest of the game, against the West Coast. _________________ Ðavâgé

I liked his game last night. Played the role he was there for and he did it reasonably well. |

OB is one of our most important linking players and when he's in the action we're usually doing alright. Has been hampered by sore ankles for the last year so hopefully the softer grounds will help. Notice that it was OB who got the hard ball out to Bucks who kicked to Taz for the winning goal. _________________ Now, gentlemen, let us do something today which the world may talk of

I heard someone mention once he is the most underated footballer going around and if he did play for another team he would be getting just as many touches as nathan |

O'Bree is very underrated, but sometimes he is hot and cold, but I agree with you about this part of you post " if he did play for another team he would be getting just as many touches as nathan" I think the spotlight soon could be off Nathan Buckley, if Woewodin, Lica, and O'Bree start hitting their straps. _________________ Ðavâgé

Obree has been pretty good this year imo and we are a better and stonger team in midfield when he is playing well. Lets hope he can continue on for the reast of the season. I remember he played one blinder of a seasons for us a few years back but tired towards the end of the year as he basically carried our midfield. Hopefully now that our midfield has good depth he can play well for the entire year finals included
