The game is the 1st 2002 Preliminary Final. The time is late in the second quarter and the 'Pies are down by two goals.

Have they gone to sleep?

Was their amazing run in 2002 bound to come to an end sooner or later?

Was this that time?

Two players in particular decided that they didn't like that scenario.

The scene is our half forward line, Punt Road end, a ball up and Bucks makes a speccy like I'm-not-thinking-about-the-painful-landing third man up effort as Pebbles holds out Clarke and Scotto cleverly moves into space. The ultimate perfect knock from Bucks lands square in Scotto's lap and all he has to do is turn, move forward and use his silky foot skills to his advantage. But this is a final, the pressure is on, and Scotto's not been a noted goalkicking midfielder. Can he produce from 40 out and get us to within a goal at the break?

In my opinion Scotland and Rup should always play in interstate games uless form is really down. I don't think MM has given Rup enough of a chance to perform.
Rup is sensational at interstate games. I'm not saying he does nothing at home games. Far from that but interstate games he's fantastic
