I think the AFL site is too tidy, and all the popup menus do is annoy. What do you think?

Anyway, back to the topic, I don't like the new AFL site, I think it is pathetic and has been for a very long time.

wanted to go in the mothers day comp this weekend.....it comes up error, check server or some such thing...thats on the AFL site

The worst thing is that the CFC site is modeled around the AFL one which means ours is also pretty bad. Our site seems to have content which is just recycled from the AFL site. Why bother having a seperate site at all?

I would love to have some unique (from the main AFL site) content on our site. Start with our membership tally on the front page. Perhaps a few more interviews with the players (that you don't have to fork out huge dollars to Telstra for!!). A couple of CFC only competitions, some social news etc. Now wouldn't that make better reading?

Perhaps they could also have a section for those of us who have fronted up with the money for a membership. If we get some extra value like this for our money, it might make some more people join. Then the 40,000 number of members will be much easier to get to. I for one would kick in a couple of extra bucks for a members only section, providing the money was collected with the membership, and went to the club (not Telstra)
