Just want to know people's thoughts on who do you think would/should be Buckley's replacement if he was to retire or quit etc.
I would say Lockyer or Licuria.

Anyone else's thoughts?

I agree blanch,

Good topic Athos......

I think you will see Tarks there, I think alot of people have given him less credit thatn he really deserves, we miss him greatly at the moment....

Cheers

I'd love to see Burnsy as Captain.
Unfortunately when Bux retires at about 40, Sir Scott will be about 38.

Nathan will be the captian for about the next 10 years then when he retires it will be one of the young lads to take the job on. But if i had it my way nathan would play in the black and white forever but lets just hope the boys can do their best for the rest of the season..

BUCKS IS THE MAN!!!! Wink

Burnsey should be next in line but he will be too old by the time Bux retires. I would definatly say that Tarkyn, Lica and Josh would be the top candiates in terms on leadership ability and captain material. Probably Tarks would be first in line though. Having said that, i dont think we have to worry for a while.

It's too hard to say, because, we don't know who can handle it as captain. I'm not saying that anyone of Collingwood's players could be a decent captain I am just saying that no body know's what is going to happen then. But I reckon Lica, he's very talented, and he could be the one the replace Bucks.

Who thinks that far ahead? Collingwood may not have the same team in 10 years. So, I don't think anyone could clearly answer it. Although it seems like a very good question to be asked the day Buckley reitres from, the AFL.
