So why does Cloke get 2 weeks for an accidental spoil when his eyes were on the ball the whole time (AND misses playing in a GF)? Okay, so people were saying it was because his opponent was seriously injured.
SO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE WITH STAFFORD? They argued it was accidental and that his eyes were on the ball BUT what about the serious injury that Spider sustained?
How on earth can the tribunal justify suspending a young kid for an accidental mistake when it's going to keep him out of a GRAND FINAL? I know we all discussed this last year but what harsher penalty is there? And then Stafford, for something I see as being very similar, gets off? AND he’s an experienced player who should have known better!
And what’s the difference between the Milne and Brown incidents? THE TRIBUNAL ARE A JOKE! Until they become consistent, no-one is going to take them seriously. And because of these inconsistencies, the sooner the Brownlow becomes simply an award for the Best player (forget fairest!), the better.
These inconsistencies TOTALLY infuriate me and are ruining our great game.
GO PIES!
