Has to get 5-6 weeks.
Cloke coped his for a reckless misjudged accident.
This is exactly the same, although I lean towards deliberate. Besides Spider may miss up to 6 weeks.
Thoughts??? |

Hope he goes for a month.
Its really funny how the scum are complaining about trial by media now.
They certainly perfected the art when they character assassinated poor
Libba for accidently punching the shit out of Knights a couple of years ago. |

Kevin Bartlett said he would get off and it looks like he did. In future we may as well not have a tribunal just ask KB who is on rules committee for his opinion and thats that.\

I heard it on 3AW when I was driving home tonight - Stafford got off!
I was so <snip> off because they said the tribunal looked at the intent.
They reckon Stafford had his eye on the ball and there was no intent and that he should have been charged with being reckless - not striking.
Well, why did Jason Cloke get TWO WEEKS for the SAME charge - Striking.
He had his eye on the ball and there was no intent.
The only difference is that Jason's opponent didn't miss a game but Everitt had his face smashed and will miss 2 - 4 weeks!
I was so outraged I was going to ring up but David Cloke beat me to it!
He said they told Jason at his tribunal appearance that he had to be accountable for his actions.
Why? Stafford doesn't.
WHAT A LOAD OF <snip>!!!

And if half of it is about making the game 'look bad' then hell - what do you reckon looked worse?
The AFL are the most inconsistent bunch of cantankerous farts I have ever come across - it is just damn insane and it gets me so angry the more and more I think about it.
These are the lot that think that 'getting players to shake hands' yadda yadda yadda helps improve the game - NO NO NO - they should try looking in their own backyard first - I say to hell with the tribunal. They should introduce something along the lines of 'students court room' - where the PLAYERS determine the penalties etc. And if the players think there is no case, THERE IS NO CASE. Why let a bunch of suits, who just love getting their head on TV while they wait for the lift at AFL house, determine this stuff?
