3. Jolly
2. Cloke
1. Toovey
As good as Pendles was, Jolly beat 3 blokes on his own (thought Leroy's first half in particular was insipid) and many of Pendlebury's touches came direct from Jolly giving him first use. Cloke was the only forward option and Toovey saved us plenty and never made a blue.
Honourable mentions to Leon, Luke Ball (bloke is a machine), Heater and Taz. Bit of a raffle beyond that. |

that could've been in any order really. Davis, Toovey, Tarrant and Ball unlucky to miss out. Pendles great all day but when the game was there to be won the 2 man mountains, Cloke and Jolly really imposed themselves. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Very tough to give out votes today, so many inconsistent players across the day but the 3 I felt were prominent all day
3- Ball
2- Cloke
1- Pendlebury
I often think he gets medals by luck and today possibly again, but along with the other 2 he was in the game all day long and many others were not, I really noticed him today, thought Ball was stiff but I dont recall spotting him much late in the game and thats when the commentators take most notice |

apols to shaw, jolly, thomas(how many times did the kid save us today?)
as for the stupid hammer comment about maxy, do you realize how serious his injury was?
its was only a few weeks ago, and he is still a brilliant leader even if not playing his best game, he still mopped up a few, just not as many as usual.
same as the Swan deal, and Didak, the dons played smart and targeted our key ball getters. look at the smother job on young Dawes.
yesterday was a good wakeup call,
yes the defence saved us, thats why its called DEFENCE!
yes it was frustrating to watch at times but take nothing away from the dons they made us buggar around, but we withstood it and powered out anyway.
Leon so good to see you smiling and sparkling, confidence back on track.

Yes, I do realise how serious his injury was. But his play atm is simply stupid (not related to any physical defects). Playing on into traffic, hospital handballs, kicks to opposition across goal. Simply stating that he is not swirched on footy-wise. Geez, lighten up. _________________ Est. 2002 |
