Well Francou did a knee tonight, and requires a full reconstruction.
No celebrations though, OK?

i was in the MCC members 2 rows from the bench and roberts( i think thats his name) from channel 9, said cloke tore tendons in his ankle and i was so upset thinking he would be out for a fair few weeks, and the next thing he is running out with the boys at half time.roberts then had to tell channel 9 he was wrong! he has no clue. mick said after the game they wont risk him if he isnt right next week but he may be ok to play. here's hoping because we missed him in defence.

i didnt mind clokey being on the bench, he was running up and down the boundary the whole last half... now there's some prime time viewing Very Happy

luv jess

afl site says molloy just had 'extreme' cramp (although it did look as if it was his knee for mine) and clokey will be fine. bad news about francou - with grant last week lets hope its not another season like a few years back when every week there was a great player going down and needing a reco.

From where I was sitting (in the second level on the opposite side of the gorund,) it looked as if Molloy hyperextended his knee, which is usually not too bad, quite a common football injury, and you just get a bit of pain in the front of the knee for a few days.

If you do it really bad you can do more serious damage, but it was fairly obvious he didn't do any real damage to the PCL, which is what you worry about. He may not train properly til friday but I think he'd be fine for next week as long as he takes it easy for the next few days.
