SEASON LAUNCH-GUERNSEY PRESENTATION

Last night was the CFC Guernsey presentation night which I attended with Magpiefanatic from the Sydney Collingwood Supporters Group who are sponsoring Paul Licuria this year.
We were seated at a table with Lica and his lovely girlfriend and had a great night.

BT was MC and of course there were speeches from Mick and Eddie.

Mark Richardson and Bucks were presented with a gold medal as 10 year players.
It's Bucks' 10th season this year and in his speech he said how fast time has gone and the players should never miss an opportunity.

All the players were presented with their guernseys by Des Tuddenham and David Cloke and also a medal with their name on to show they are part of the team for 2003.

Des Tuddenham made a moving speech about how it still hurts every day that he was a part of 3 losing Grand Final teams and like Bucks told the players to make the most of their opportunities.

Tony Francis was presented with the guernsey he wore in the 1990 Grand Final by Sean Millane and his mum.
Apparently he had given it to Darren's dad after the game and couldn't remember what he'd done with it.
He was rapt to be invited back to Collingwood - and to get his jumper back.

Eddie took the time to come over and say hello to us.
When I told him I was stik35 from Nick's he said he knew me and wishes more people would introduce themselves with their user names.

It was good to see the players mixing with their sponsors and supporters.
I had a great night and it was good to meet you Magpiefanatic.

Yes, what a fantastic night. I was on Alan Didak's table and it was awesome of Eddie to mention all the supporter groups, including us ( the Pink Magpies).
