You can go into the old Nick's board and copy and paste your previous one (or if that doesn't work, copy it, save it to your pc or copy the url, then put it up here, using the profile button at the top of this page).

Everybody:

To put up a personal avatar you no longer have to email it to Mike. You just have to click on the 'profile' button at the top of the page and at the bottom of that page you can upload an avatar from your pc (use the Browse button), or enter a url, or select from avatars that are already provided here.

Oh and if you wish to talk to the moderators, do it in, General Feedback because ALL moderators (whether rostered on or not) receive notification of the post and therefore able to reply quicker.

Sorry Joel, but last time I posted in General Feedback, a war broke out.
I'll stick with the private system thanks.

It's your choice Craig, but remember that you run the risk of your message not being seen for a while. The mods only log in with their mod usernames to perform an action and then revert to their normal usernames, so there is a strong chance that a private message won't be noticed in that short time.

If you are unwilling to use the General Feedback forum then the best thing to do is use email. You can email the current moderation group using the group name@magpies.net (this week - bbmod4@magpies.net) or all the moderators using bbmods@magpies.net. If anyone doesn't have access to email the board will send the email for you, just click on the email link.

I repeat - Private messaging to the moderators group names is risky.

Yep. If you don't want to use General Feedback then the best way would be to email the mods, as Mike said.

I'll take that risk guys. If it gets missed fine, I'm normally only pointing out things that the normal moderation of the board should pick up, but barely does since the e-mail notifications were switched off.
So if somethings missed and my notification is missed, well, its not my problem. I've done the best I can.
