Post subject: Rhyce Shaw. Has he turned the corner? | |
|
As one of the doom sayers I think I owe it to the kid to post this.
Well done.!
Truely his best three games for the club. However, I hope he realises that a Whiz Fizz competition doesnt make a winter.
Keep up the great work and repay the faith shown by the club.

I was thinking the same thing last night, I was very impressed. Its great that he has decided to actually do the work, as he knows that his time will be up if he dosen't.. I hope he has a good season. Good work!

In his post match interview he stated "This is my last chance and I have been a bit slack over the past few years". MM has got into his heart and mind and on current form Freeborn would be left out of the twenty two for Shaw. In saying that the real stuff has not started yet, but I have been very impressed with his games so far.

All about building depth. If Shaw can continue this upward curve then we again build a strength into our team that we have been lacking the last few years.
Well done Rhyce. I hope to see much more of the famous number 22 on the field for the Pies.

he has been one of our best players over the course of the preseason and will become a great asset if he keeps his form up, with his speed he could become a great weapon. Doesnt look scared to go in for the hard ball and seems to be good on his decision making now

He has been impressive in the Wizard Cup, but I'm not quite sure if he has turned the corner. Only time will tell, but if he can keep this form/attitude going into the season then it could be devastating to our opposition!!! |

On his current form he is looking the goods. Perhaps just in front of Freeborn at the moment for a spot in the 22. However, its only the Wizard Cup and he has yet to prove himself in the real thing. |

Certainly at this stage he is looking good. Showing us what he can do finally after teasing us at the start of his "career". Seems to be sizing up his options well before getting rid of the ball, and is doing something with it almost every time. A bit tough saying it isn't the real thing, we had a pretty good side on the park people. If he can keep his spot in the side week to week he will be playing good football, and all the better for us. Keep it up Rhyce. _________________ Go Pies! |

Anthony, it also depends on who we play. Shaw hasn't really played against any tough opposition yet. I like what he has done so far, but I will reserve my judgements. |

Yes I agree it does to some extent, Joel. But I mean to say if he can keep holding his spot in OUR side, it does mean he is doing well. Also I meant to mention that I like how he is chasing hard and going in hard. How about we reserve our judgement to after this week against the crows? They're not too bad a side, cough, cough. _________________ Go Pies! |

sorry another year at willi for the boy......others prefered for me.
lokan and freeza infront of him surely, although his pace is a real asset.
can't see him lasting. (but would like to be proved wrong) |
