The Nicksters: Mr J who NEVER behaves

The Infiltrator
By - Mr J who NEVER behaves

I went along to the football
To watch dear old Carlton play
They hadn't won for so long
Maybe today might be there day.

I sat with the Carlton faithful
Surrounded by Navy Blue
The cheer squad held high a banner
Which the Carlton team ran through.

They were playing the mighty Collingwood
A hated foe I was told
The rivalry goes back many a year
They are loathed by young and old.

The ball was bounced to start the game
And Carlton got quickly on top
With three goals each to Fevola and Whitnall
And others were running hot.

The second term was much the same
As they kicked goals from far and wide
Where was that black and white team
I was told had so much pride.

Then came the second half
And the tide was turning
With Buckley, Burns and Didak
Collingwood suddenly were burning.

As the end of the game draws close
I look around at the faces wracked with pain
The hated Collingwood Army
Had triumphed yet again!

Only one smiling face amongst the faithful
As I stood to reveal my disguise
By undoing my black duffle coat
To show a white Tshirt saying "GO PIES!"
