To be fair, the whole world can see he's going to get a week.
The media in general are clowns. BT is quite funny and he's one commentator I don't mind listening to. Bias against the Pies?!?... News to me, I've never heard his comments that way.
"No premiership team has lost 2 of their last 4in 10 years!" the pea brained hollar. Well, true.
But go back 11 years....
Sydney in 2012. Lost 3 of their last 4, including a round 22 loss to their GF opponent, Hawthorn. They finished 3rd, Whooped the crows in Adelaide in a QF, brushed past us (we lost the QF to hawks and beat the wiggles in a SF) in a prelim and then extracted revenge on the Hawks in the GF.
Or 2009. Geelong won the flag,... dropped 2 of their last 4, against 10th placed Carlton & the fifteenth placed dogs who only won 5 all season.

Absolute flog of the highest order.
Actively calling for players to be rubbed out and more interested in his stupid calling idiosyncrasies than accurately calling the game up to and including getting the players names wrong. I’m surprised it wasn’t him who called GWS the orange team.

Hes a bellowing dickhead, modelled himself on Rex Hunt, Im ashamed of him as and ex Magpie, he delights in us struggling. His Roaming thing post game, is just so crass, some players cannot be bothered with him at all. I always mute the flog, cant stand his anti Collingwood crap and rants.

| Horrible caller in every way.Contrary to popular opinion he doesn’t like Collingwood at all.I don’t think he’s ever forgiven the club for dropping him in the 1990 finals series.😐He always barracks for the other side,no matter who we are playing.His voice rises about two octaves when the other side is winning,then drops another two octaves when we are winning.You can hear how he really feels about us in his voice. |

I hate players that sling a sling of any nature is not warranted. As much as I love McCreery, he deserves the suspension.

^Yup, BT knows the commentator 'theatre' role better than most, and ultimately called it how it was.
It was an ill-disciplined tackle. We all knew it.
McCreery was fortunate the player didn't get a concussion, otherwise he'd be missing our 1st final.
Hopefully Julie gives him a good talking too.

Let's drift into the world of reality and facts, just for a moment.
Given a succession of knee unjuries he was lucky to play on from 1989.
He did bugger all when he returned in 1990, then laboured through the season.
He played 6 games for the 1990 season and kicked 9:6, 4 of those against the Gold Coast bound Fitzroy whom we smashed by 86 points. (11 in 1989)
He'd fallen out with the playing group.
He kept an unsanctioned diary and was leaking bits to the press.
Darren Millane had punch on with him during the season.
We won 1990 without him.
Ronnie McKeon was more of a chance to play.
But what would Leigh Matthews know...
