The comment from Bucks was that he believes Beams is "in a happier place" after they exchanged a few texts last weekend. Nothing at all about playing footy again or being on track to do so

Ok thanks for clarifying it up. Its good if beams is in a happy place even better still if he can play on though.

I'd love for Beamer to get back out there in the black & white again, but That chapter is closed in my opinion.

Go the Pies!

Last year, quite a few of us put forward the argument that the high injury toll at the the Pies was due to more than just bad luck.

This was Darcy Moore on SEN this morning:
"But it was just something about the way I was preparing at the club that just wasn't setting me up to play football.

"So I was more questioning my program and what I was doing and the way I was being managed, more so than questioning my body".

Also time to get over these injuries are also key I feel this break of footy is a blessing as we were racing against the clock now we have oddels of time and which may pro long players careers and able to finally get their bodies in shape and work on things.

Repost ~ (mate, just pause, and read through it before posting. While it'd be an interesting experiment, I'm sure you don't talk to people this way).

These posts are the grammatical equivalent of looking into the Sun. We know we shouldn't but it's there everyday, so it's very difficult to avoid.
I welcome your passion, but please, before your next post, use this period to upskill your punctuation and grammar. It'll be a enduring legacy for all concerned.

Darcy is also on the Real Footy podcast:

Don't know if he says anything more about injuries.

Since he's speaking in the past tense, what changed and when?

Shit! Training is when we do most of our bloody injuries! 9 years of huge injury tolls costing us at least 2 maybe 3 flags, and STILL we call it luck cuz the staff can’t figure out the $£$%^%%$ problem!
LOOK at our man games lost over 9 years, we lead by miles, yet how many of our guys you seen stretchered off lately? Brooms... then ?
We SHOULD have won in 2012, 2018, & at least made the granny last year.
That’d be 17-18 flags
Much closer to where we should be given we’ve dominated the game for 120 years. EVERY other stat says so except the ‘P’ column.

It was actually Leibniz (Theodicy: Essays on the Goodness of God, the Freedom of Man, and the Origin of Evil. Translated by E. M. Huggard. Lasalle, IL: Open Court, 1985, pp. 127-28 ), albeit via Voltaire, as you say.

Anyone had any confirmed updates on how Tom Langdons knee cartilage is coming along post surgery?
One player I'd like to see running around again. Round 9 2019 was his last game, seems an age ago.

North Korea borrowed our medical team for Kim Jong Un.

Big mistake....
