News on Langdon coming up on 7 news.

Turned out to be just a mention that he's struggling.

Presti not sure if Langdon played the practice match can’t find any details anywhere confirming or denying either way but can tell you he visited offices of doctor Peter Myers today who is the knee surgeon specialist up this way
Obviously don’t know if it was just a routine follow from his surgeon in Melbourne because of being in the hub and can’t be seen down there so had been referred or something to do with him pulling up sore after 1st quarter of practice match over a week ago
I guess either way not being able to complete another practice match (that’s 4 of 5 now he’s failed to complete) doesn’t bode well for his future

I think it will be likely that he will not play senior football again. Very sad if that happens.

I didn’t see that report seems a basic report really if that’s all that was said which is basically what we all knew anyways
Wonder if they are sitting on a story we don’t know about ?

Someone mentioned JDG before and his dinner any news on that mate ?

^
In a preview of sport, Jaqui Felgate said something like, could this be the end for a Magpie leading in the ad break.

When sport came on, they showed 2 seconds of him and Buckley walking around the track. There was nothing else.

No news on De Goeys... dinner. But I had Indian take out.

JdG's dinner? Judging by his physique, I'd say he also had Indian take out with a double mango lassi.

Ch. 7 yesterday claimed Lynch & Prestia are in full training, so it's really only Soldo injured.

So for the 4th season in a row, Richmond hit finals with a virtually full list, while their finals opponents are all decimated.

Certain camera angles flatter him more than others.

Does anyone know what is wrong with Langdon’s knee? I get the impression it must be a non operable degenerative condition . Very sad when he should be in his prime .

Meanwhile, the news isn't as positive for defender Tom Langdon, whose playing future remains in doubt after his long-term knee problem flared during a practice match against Brisbane last month.

He definitely wont be returning in 2020. Will he return in 2021? It's not looking great.

Is he a chance for rookie, or LTI list, should he not choose to retire?

My understanding he was told in the preseason his knee would never recover sufficiently to play AFL or any professional sport again
He choose to try and beat it and get back but I think we can all agree if you can’t even finish a scratch match without suffering swelling and soreness then you are probably better off retired and trying to move on with your life away from football
After each match sim or scratch match his had issues and hasn’t completed a full game
It’s around 15 months now since his injury and still can’t train properly
He’s not the first player to have his career ended due to injury and unfortunately he won’t be the last either it’s the nature of the beast
He won’t be on our list in 2021

In the mix for Rd 18 has just been posted on our website.
Some great news:
Incredibly Will Kelly is approaching full fitness by next week!
Mayne is looking to be ready for our first final.
Nathan Murphy is looking to be ready within similar time frame to Mayne.
Brayden Sier back in full training (hope he can be ready for our first final)
Bad news
Jeremy Howe has officially ended any hope of playing in 2020.
